Tickets to the 2008 BMW Asian Open
Tickets for the 2008 BMW Asian Open will not be available for purchase, due to the prestigious and exclusive nature of the event.
Do not despair, however, as daily entry tickets can be obtained on request. BMW China will not charge entrance fees to the 2008 BMW Asian Open. Rather, BMW and golf enthusiasts can register via a special call centre by phone, or online, to find out the facts and receive their personal invitation to the 2008 BMW Asian Open. To gain accreditation, simply visit the official BMW Asian Open website or one of its partner websites.
2008 BMW Asian Open tickets for VIPs are available by invitation only, apart from those reserved for sponsors of the event. These sponsors are UBS, Rolex, Tomson Golf Club, the Ritz Carlton and, of course, BMW.
The tournament will be held from the 24th to the 27th of April 2008, at the Tomson Shanghai Pudong Golf Club, the must-play course for national and international VIPs visiting Shanghai, which has played host to the event since 2004.
Prize money for the 2008 BMW Asian Open will be announced at a press conference to be held sometime in February or March (date to be confirmed).
Prior to the start of the event, BMW and golfing enthusiasts travelling to Shanghai for the 2008 BMW Asian Open can enjoy watching the Pro-am tournament – which takes place the day before the onset of the tournament proper and is followed by a lavish awards party.
